WOYWW 7-25-18

As Julia said, the heatwave continues. We keep getting predictions of highs in the 70's, but end up in the 80's. Ugh. At least it's not the killer 90's. Unfortunately, my husband thinks it's cool enough to turn off the air conditioning. It's not!

A couple of days ago I made some time for myself and scrapped a couple of pages for our trip last spring to be with my brother. I'm still in the part about his life. These two pages are from his younger days, probably in the 1990's.



I used my new flourish dies for the first time! They work great, and I really like them. I hope to eventually get some larger ones too.

Here is a picture of my workdesk, a little more cleaned up. I'm still organizing and rearranging, so some of the stuff will eventually be moved elsewhere.

    It's been over 100 F here several days, so I'm thankful for my AC. I wouldn't make it without it.

    LOVELY layouts. Fun to see them and also your desk in a "before" mode. Happy WOYWW from # 1.

    It's so fun to go back and scrapbook old photos. Great layouts. It's hot here too and my A/C bill is so high, but I can't imagine going without it. Dorlene #34

    Hi Suzanne.. Air con sounds like a dream come true. I'm sure i'd be alot more productive if I had it. Good to know you have been organising too, i'm getting there very very slowly.

    Great pages, very admirable that you’re scrapping in order, I simply can’t do it, I get bored and petulant about it!! I ove a good flourish stamp or die, can’t go wrong with a flourish! Us Brits tend not to have domestic air conditioning, so I’m a dab hand at keeping curtains drawn, windows on both sides of the house opened to channel the air...but oh boy, it’s still very warm. Your husband must have a really cool core temperature!!
