WOYWW 4-18-18

Another week, another WOYWW! Nothing much has changed here. It's still cold and snowy. I watched my granddaughter a lot last week, so I didn't get much crafting done. This week, I decided I needed to make some progress on my scrapbook, so here is the next page.

It's a page that highlights photos of paintings my brother made. He was quite talented! Unfortunately, that drawing/painting gene didn't make it to me. But my oldest daughter, and her niece, my granddaughter, both have it.

And here is a shot of my desk. I got a little bit more clutter put away, but it still needs work. I hope to get more done this week.

That's it for now! I'm kind of tired today, so I have to keep this short and sweet. Check out http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ to see some other workdesks. Happy crafting!

  1. Nice to remember your brother’s skills on a scrapbook page. My Uncle is an artist and I always tell people the gene naturally skips a generation when they look at me and wonder what to say about my artistic potential - everyone gets let off the hook that way!! I love the hutch you’ve got there for your ink pads, and hey..I see no clutter!

  3. Hi Suzanne, I've put you on my swap list. Will you email me your addy? there's a link to my email in my sidebar, and I'll send you mine by return. Love the pages, Two of my sons are incredibly good artists, and I have no idea where that gene came from, as it's never surfaced in the family before!Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #8 XxX

  5. What a great page a celebration of your Brother's art work and the easel and paint palette embellishments really add to it. Thank you for sharing WOYWW.

  6. Hi Suzanne. A lovely post - and a great page you have made there. A lovely tribute. It's not art skills but music in my family. Two of my great grandparents were professional musicians, and that has come right down each generation - and now through to my own grandchildren - all five of them being musical in one way or another.
    Take care. God bless.

  10. I am hoping to de-clutter too but it's not happened yet. The weather here has changed completely today and it's been really warm, think I preferred it cold. Have a great woyww and happy crafty week, Angela x18x

  11. What a great tribute to your brother's work Suzanne. Not being able to draw well is why stamps were invented (and why I have such a lot lol). Have a great week. Sarah #17
